While attending the Rotary International Zone 33/34 Summit last week, I was fortunate enough to spend some one-on-one time with our RI President Gordon McInally, who is thrilled with this challenge we have created that combines raising funds for polio and focusing on mental health! He had a recommendation for how he would spend thirty minutes a day on self care, watch the imbedded video to see for yourself!
Our End Polio Now Challenge is in FULL SWING, but it’s never too late to begin!! Although the 30-Day challenge for the district runs until Nov 28th (giving Tuesday) you can still raise money for the polio fund and do some self care with your own 30 day challenge, begin any time before the district challenge ends 11/28! Sign up via the Google form in this newsletter; all the instructions are there to get your Raise for Rotary page started, and for you to receive support along the way. Another way to participate at this time, is to ask your friends and family to support the Polio fund through your Raise for Rotary page with a one-time donation, while you commit to continuing self-care far past our 30-day challenge.
However you choose to support our efforts with Polio, or any other fund through The Rotary Foundation, please know how much you are appreciated across the globe, and in our communities. I can’t wait to see you at an upcoming club visit in the near future!
