District 7610 Rotarians,

You know over the past few months I have sung the praises of how important it is to attend a Rotary International Convention. By now, most of you know the next convention will be in Singapore from May 25-29, 2024.

I really want to encourage each and every one of you to attend. While I know there’s a financial obligation and time commitment to be able to come, I can assure you that it will be that lightbulb moment that will be the pinnacle of your Rotary “career.”

Why you should attend:

• You’ll be able to network and bond with District 7610 leaders. There will be many group meals, chances to simply walk around the city, explore museums, etc. together. Don’t think this is a “group” trip — there will be plenty of times to do things on your own and you’re not obligated to hang around everyone, but if you want the opportunity to do so, you can.
• You’ll meet Rotarians across the globe — from Kenya, to Australia, to Chile, to other parts of the U.S. Rotary is so much more than Stafford County, and meeting other Rotarians from across the globe will allow you to see the big picture.
• The arena shows are a sight to be seen – there will be prominent speakers and heartwarming moments that will inspire you and really show you the power of the organization.
• You’ll get to see Singapore! Whether you’ve never been before, or you’ve been many times before, there’s plenty to see (and eat!).
