SWA Exciting News! Great Progress at the Kabule Water Project in Uganda!

Exciting updates and progress are underway at the Kabule Water Project in Uganda. Thanks to the tireless efforts of our technical team and dedicated partners, the well has been successfully completed. Once the pump is connected, water will flow to the storage tanks, launching the distribution system into operation. The pump house is almost ready, with switch gears and electrical installations for the solar panels scheduled to be installed soon. Construction of the water tank and its sturdy supporting stands is well underway, and the contractor remains on schedule.
Adding to the excitement, partners from the Mityana Town Council recently visited the site to see the remarkable progress firsthand. Their encouragement has energized everyone involved.
This life-changing project would not be possible without the dedication of the Rotary Club of Muyenga, our local sponsoring partner, and the hardworking technical team. We are deeply grateful for their commitment to providing sustainable, safe water to the Kabule community.
We also extend heartfelt thanks to our participating District 7610 Strategic Water Alliance (SWA) Rotary Clubs: Alexandria, Annandale, Bailey’s Crossroads, Washington-Dulles International Airport, Dunn Loring-Merrifield, Fairfax, Fredericksburg, Rappahannock-Fredericksburg, Falls Church, Sterling, Great Falls, Herndon-Reston, Leesburg Evening, Leesburg Daybreak, Manassas, Bull Run Manassas, McLean, Tysons, Vienna, West Springfield, Stafford, North Stafford, Gainesville-Haymarket, and Crystal City-Pentagon.
