The Rotary Club of Orange, Virginia, has proudly served its community for 98 years, standing as a beacon of service and leadership in Orange County. Chartered on April 3, 1927, our club has upheld the core values of Rotary International, fostering goodwill, integrity, and service above self.
Our Legacy of Service:
From its early days, the Orange Rotary Club has been deeply involved in local education, youth development, and community enhancement. Some of our most impactful contributions include:
- Scholarships & Education Support – We provide annual scholarships to graduating high school seniors, empowering the next generation of leaders.
- Humanitarian Aid & Community Service – Our club has led food drives, supported veterans, assisted local shelters, and partnered with community organizations to address critical needs.
- Senior & Healthcare Support – Working with Aging Together and TRIAD, we ensure seniors in our community receive safety, resources, and support.
- Alzheimer’s Research & Awareness – Through our active promotion of the CART (Coins for Alzheimer’s Research Trust) Fund, we contribute to groundbreaking research in the fight against Alzheimer’s.
- Annual Christmas Parade – Every year, we bring the holiday spirit to Orange with our Rotary Christmas Parade, a beloved tradition that unites families, businesses, and community members.
- Memorial Tree in the Town of Orange – We honor loved ones and those who have made a lasting impact in our community through our Memorial Tree, a beautiful tribute that stands as a reminder of love, service, and remembrance.
- Annual BBQ for Youth Scholarships – Our club hosts an Annual BBQ, where delicious food and community fellowship come together to raise funds for scholarships, ensuring students in Orange County have the opportunity to pursue higher education.
- Dental Kits for Children – Promoting health and wellness, we distribute Dental Kits to children in need, teaching the importance of oral hygiene and ensuring every child has the tools for a healthy smile.
- Support for Boy Scout Troop 14 – We are proud to support Boy Scout Troop 14 in their efforts to instill leadership, responsibility, and community service values in young scouts.
