Leadership Training Programs Build Strong Rotary Leaders

Each July 1 at the beginning of the Rotary Year, Rotary’s entire leadership team changes, allowing each new club president, district governor, and even the Rotary International President to infuse the organization of 1.2 million members with new ideas and fresh approached to meet the challenges of service.

Rotary’s leadership training programs effectively prepare Rotary leaders to motivate, plan, administer, and execute programs and projects that make clubs stronger and give Rotarians opportunities to share fellowship while serving in their communities, their professions, and around the world.

RLI Can Help Your Club Do More with Knowledgeable and Motivated Rotarians!

The Rotary Leadership Institute (RLI) is a series of fast-paced, interactive, one-day courses offered to refine Rotarians’ leadership skills and increase their base of knowledge in Rotary.

Courses are fun, topical, interactive, and geared toward busy business and professional persons who want to be more effective leaders in their vocation and club and more knowledgeable Rotarians.

Rotary Clubs are encouraged to select at least two candidates for RLI annually. Students return to their club with enthusiasm, new contacts, fresh ideas, an increased understanding of their potential as Rotarians, and valuable skills impacting their potential leadership in the club.

Zone 33 RLI serves Rotary Clubs in North Carolina, South Carolina, East Tennessee, Virginia, West Virginia & the Southern Caribbean. Locations and Dates for upcoming RLI events are conveniently planned throughout the service area  on various dates throughout the year. Rotarians are encouraged to attend RLI events at any location.

For specifics regarding your club's nomination of students to the program, costs, and courses, see the FAQ link.

Students may register on this web site for any event. See RLI’s FAQ page for more detail about the course offerings and purposes of the Institute.

RLI is always looking for motivated and talented Rotarians who wish to serve Rotary by joining the RLI Faculty. We provide the training! Click here for Faculty Information.
