Which Way Is Out?

A Caribbean play with an American flavor.

WHICH WAY IS OUT? Follows a long tradition of issue oriented plays rooted in the Jamaican experience, which theatre goers all over the world continue to find relevant, current, engaging, and entertaining. “WHICH WAY IS OUT? makes no bones about the serious societal undercurrent it carries, but it doesn’t shy away either from full-bodied wit and humor. Well-acted and involving, though moralizing and sentimental at times, the play’s message of responsibility and commitment rings loud and clear.”

The play, which has been enjoying successful performances in North America, and is consistent with the Jamaican-American experience storyline, is written and produced by Jamaican Basil Dawkins, who is celebrating over 30 years in theatre as actor, producer, and multi-award winning playwright. Basil has, through the years, served his community and his industry well. He has been President of The Jamaica Association of Dramatic Artists, and served on the Government of Jamaica’s Advisory Board on Arts, Culture, and Entertainment among many other positions. Basil Dawkins’ Productions boasts a cast and crew of extremely talented and professional individuals.

Our objective is to provide a taste of the Caribbean, and to raise funds for Rotary’s Polio Eradication Project.
