Rotary District 7610 Governor Nominee-Designee Sheila Brennan

It is my pleasure to announce the incoming District Governor for Rotary year 2022-23, Sheila Brennan. Sheila is the past-president of Vienna Rotary Club and currently serves as District Conference Chair. Sheila is married to another past president of Vienna Rotary Club, Matt Brennan, Esquire. Current Vienna president, James Cudney, called Sheila, "the backbone" of the club.

A little bit about Sheila's background:

She is the oldest of ten siblings who grew up in the Chicago area. She has had a distinguished 40 year career in the federal government primarily with the DOD and DEA. She was a GS-15 up until her retirement (the equivalent of a full Colonel or Navy Captain). She was the lowest graded civilian employee in the Defense Logistics Agency to ever receive the DLA Civilian Employee of the Year. First time it was ever awarded to an employee at the GS-7 level. She received more than 30 outstanding performance ratings over her years of service.

Most importantly, Sheila embodies the true spirit of being a Rotarian, Service above Self. She has been an amazing teammate at the district level, has shown creativity, positive energy, and leadership and will be an excellent district governor. She joins the DG-String that includes, DGE Harry Henderson, DGN Pat Borowski, and myself.

Please welcome DGND Sheila Brennan in her new role!
