Club Presidents must submit their certifications of compliance with the requirements for the District Governor's Citation to District Awards Chair Hank Allen by May 10, 2010.
Rotarians perform an amazing variety of services in local communities and across the globe. In any organization, especially one of volunteers, recognition of outstanding achievement and the hard work that makes it possible is essential.
The District web site tried to make available everything you will need concerning awards, including RI awards and our District awards.
Consistent with prior years:

Club activities concluded between May 1, 2009 and April 30, 2010 are eligible to be considered.

Club achievement will be recognized as “Exceptional” or “Meritorious.”

Clubs submit information on projects or activities to District Awards Chair Hank Allen, either project-by-project as they
occur, or in an end-of-year snapshot of each avenue of service.

The nomination deadline is May 10, 2010.

District Directors (Club, Community, Vocational, International, Public Image) establish committees to make recommendations to the District Governor for these awards
